Breakthrough Learning is about two things. First one has to understand the Grey Sphere meaning of the term “Breakthrough”, it is the planned and deliberate spike in performance that an organisation undergoes when leadership takes action. Furthermore the spike in performance has to be maintained through time as opposed to being a once off temporary event.
The second part of the term learning is targeted towards the organisation as opposed to an individual. It is the organisation that learns and makes full use of the insight (generated from learning) to improve it’s circumstance.
