The Holistic Leader Overview

Holistic leaders relentlessly strive towards creating a culture of openness, trust, respect, participation, empowerment, and growth.

 

Senge (1990) defined learning organizations as  “organizations where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspiration is set free, and where people are continually learning how to learn together”​The holistic leader applies these concepts and skills by utilizing methodologies that are developmental and systemic in nature.

What do we mean by this; that Holistic Leaders expertly maneuver their way towards transformation at three levels: the individual, the team and the organisation. He does this by organizing and understanding how events, behaviours and experiences affect one another in the short and long term. Through a deep intuitive expression he/she empowers and motivates, communicates and transforms the team by pledging allegiance to the shared vision and in essence becoming a source of inspiration.​
